Dinosaur Ridge Field Courses for Teachers

Scheduled to Date – 2013

The following teacher courses are being offered through the Colorado School of Mines to give teachers at all grade levels an opportunity to learn about the geology and paleontology found in and around Dinosaur Ridge.  To register for a course, go to http://te.csmspace.com . Saturday January 12th – 9AM-3PM: Teacher Enhancement Course
Location: Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center
This workshop is appropriate for elementary and middle school teachers. Learn and complete hands-on activities that demonstrate how sedimentary rocks and fossils form and receive copies of the activities to do in class. Also included is a guided tour of Dinosaur Ridge (visiting the four major stops interpreted on a guided school tour). Funded by the Mikkelson Foundation.
No college credit is associated with the workshop.
