The construction of the
C-470/Alameda Parkway Interchange
is underway.
The project is scheduled to be complete – and the Interchange open –
by June 30, 2008.
Temporary road closures include:
• The portion of
Alameda Parkway that crosses C-470 will be closed to vehicular traffic from
December 15, 2007 through approximately April 30, 2008. During this time,
pedestrians, bicyclists and emergency response vehicles will still be able
to cross C-470 on Alameda Parkway.
• The bicycle path on the east side of C-470 will be closed from Alameda
Parkway for approximately one-half mile south from January 14, 2008 through
approximately March 17, 2008.
Additional temporary closures will occur on an as-needed basis, including
those affecting certain traffic lanes on C-470. These closures will be
announced through roadside signs and on our project web site.
