The Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center is located west of the Alameda Parkway exit off C-470 (built in 2008).

Directions from C-470 South:
Take C-470 North (some signs say west) past the Morrison Rd exit to the Alameda Parkway exit.  Turn left onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Directions from C-470 North:
Take C-470 South (some signs say east) past the I-70 interchange to the Alameda Parkway exit.  Turn right onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Directions from I-70 East:
Take I-70 West to the C-470 Interchange.  Take C-470 South (some signs say east) to the next exit, Alameda Parkway.  Turn right onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Directions from I-70 West:
Take I-70 East to the C-470 Interchange.  Take C-470 South (some signs say east) to the next exit, Alameda Parkway.  Turn right onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Directions from 6th Avenue East:
Take 6th Avenue West to the C-470 Interchange (this exit is also where you exit for the I-70 Interchange).  Follow the signs to C-470 South (some signs say east) and go from I-70 onto C-470 (first exit).  Take C-470 South to the next exit, Alameda Parkway.  Turn right onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Directions from 6th Avenue West:
Highway 93 from Boulder to Golden is 6th Avenue.  Take 6th Avenue East to C-470 South (some signs say east).  Take C-470 Take C-470 South to the next exit, Alameda Parkway.  Turn right onto Alameda Parkway, continuing about a half mile until you see a large Dinosaur Ridge sign (shaped like an Allosaurus) at the entrance.

Located on the west side of Dinosaur Ridge, first turn on the right at Red Rocks Entrance #1.

Triceratops Trail

Triceratops Trail is a 1.5-mile, gravel hiking trail located one block east of 6th Avenue and 19th Street in Golden, Colorado. The trail winds between large, vertical walls of sandstone and into reclaimed clay pits. The hike should take around an hour round trip and involve a few places difficult/impossible for elderly and/or handicapped persons to access.

Triceratops Trail Trailhead
Located just east of the 6th Avenue and 19th Street intersection.
Take 6th Ave West to 19th Street
Turn right onto 19th street and take the first right into a School of Mines Parking Lot.
Pay before parking at the meter (weekends are free)
Turn right and drive to the back right of the lot (back toward 6th Ave). 
Park there and walk up to the bike path. You will see a kiosk for Triceratops Trail with information and a map. 
Follow the bike path to the left making a left turn at the gravel Trailhead for Triceratops Trail. 
Follow your route back after your visit.
